Mom's night

I had the greatest treat this past week. I got to go to the Britney Spears concert at the Honda Center with a couple of friends. I got my ticket thanks to a neighbor and when we got there we got the news that we were moved to the front row because our original seats were blocked by the lighting machines. It was so much fun. The Pussy Cat Dolls opened for her and they're an amazing group. Britney Spears' show was very entertaining with all the aerialist and acrobats.
More than anything it was so nice to be around adults and listen to something other than High School Musical songs.

Happy Easter

It was a perfect Easter Day and my two girls were very excited to find all the eggs the Easter Bunny brought them. We had a wonderful day searching for eggs and spending time with family. We had our first Easter with my niece Mikaela, Violetta just loved picking up the eggs and Gianna loved all the treats she got to eat. It was fun to have the three different stages to experience and enjoy. It reminded me of how quickly my little ones are growing up and how I need to slow down and enjoy them more.

Sleepover

Gianna's first sleepover......

Fun at the park

Our baby lemons.

Gianna had a blast having her first sleepover with our good friends little girl, Brenna. Brenna is only a couple of months older than Gianna and when they get together its like they're two peas in a pod. They stayed up late and got up early of course. We took them for hot chocolate and donuts in the morning and got to play in the park. We also picked up some "baby" lemons from the lemon trees in the park. I got to show the girls how lemons grow from tiny flowers to lemons in our kitchen. They just loved seeing all the different colored ladybugs that were out. We are looking forward to our next sleepover soon.

March

We started off March a bit rocky. It was Geoff's birthday on the first and we spent his birthday cleaning up after Gianna who woke up with a horrible stomach flu. We were supposed to spend the day at Disneyland but with Gianna sick we had to wait for the following week to actually enjoy our trip to "The Happiest Place on Earth".
